Warwickshire sign paceman Zondeki

Zondeki will arrive at Edbgaston in March

Warwickshire have completed the signing of South African fast bowler Monde Zondeki for the new season.

The 25-year-old, who has played five Tests for the Proteas and has taken 16 wickets, will be available for all games - except the Twenty20 Cup.

"I'm extremely excited. The chance to work with Ashley Giles and Allan Donald was too good to refuse," said Zondeki.

"It promises to be a huge year for the Bears and I'm looking forward to playing an important role."

Director of cricket Giles added: "Monde comes highly recommended from South Africa.

"Myself and AD have had many discussions about world-class bowlers and he rates him as one of the quickest bowlers in South Africa.

"Monde will add pace and experience to our bowling attack and will be a good addition to the squad. I look forward to welcoming to Edgbaston in March."
