Sussex have tied up two more of their young players on new deals by agreeing new two-year contracts with fast bowler Ragheb Aga and leg spinner Will Beer.

Aga, 24, enjoyed a successful first season on the staff, proving the second XI's top one-day wicket-taker.

And Beer, 20, represented England Under-19s when New Zealand toured in July and August.

Wicketkeeper Ben Brown, 19, and all-rounder Tom Smith, 21, also agreed two-year deals earlier this week.

Cricket manager Mark Robinson said: "Ragheb, as a bowling all-rounder, and Will, as a leg spinner, are two exciting commodities to have at the club.

"If they both continue to progress as they have this season, they should have big futures within the team."

Aga played five first-class matches for Sussex this year, taking nine wickets at 25.77.

He also captained his home country, Kenya, in the ICC World Twenty20 qualifiers in August.

Beer played two first-class matches and four games in the Twenty20. And he was the leading wicket-taker in the two Under-19 Test matches, claiming 10 scalps at an average of 17.60, including a best return of six for 53 in the first game at Taunton in late July.
