Hollioake back at Surrey
Hollioake will hope to inspire Surrey to further success
Hollioake will hope to inspire Surrey to further success

Adam Hollioake trained with the Surrey team on Monday after flying back from Australia following the birth of his daughter.

Club captain Hollioake has not played for Surrey this season following the car accident in March in which his brother Ben died at the age of 24.

Hollioake's wife and two-week-old baby Bennaya are staying in Perth, but will fly out in four weeks time along with Adam's parents.

Surrey spokesman Johnny Grave told BBC Sport Online: "Adam will not play in Surrey's match against Kent on Wednesday.

"But he is part of the dressing-room again now and will certainly be playing in the next week or so."

He also revealed that Hollioake had watched Lennox Lewis's knockout defeat of Mike Tyson in Memphis on his way back from Australia.

Bennaya Hollioake weighed in at 7lbs 10ozs when she was born at a hospital in Perth, Australia on 25 May.

The second half of her name is derived from Janaya, Ben's girlfriend who was seriously injured in the accident, while the first half is in memory of Ben himself.
