Scots ready to deal with Coetzer

Coetzer will be out to make his mark against the Saltires

Captain Ryan Watson returns to lead the Scottish Saltires against Durham when the Friends Provident Trophy holders visit The Grange on Sunday.

Watson missed Monday's surprise victory over Lancashire due to the birth of his first child.

However, Navdeep Poonia is unavailable after being recalled from his loan spell by Warwickshire.

Scotsman Kyle Coetzer is expected to line up against his countrymen for the visitors in Edinburgh.

And Saltires bowler Gordon Goudie is wary of the threat posed by his international team-mate.

"Obviously, he made the decision to move down south, even when it was only a place at Durham's Academy but he worked harder than anyone else I know and it paid off," said Goudie.

"There's been talk of him making the England Lions squad in the last weeks which is great, considering how disappointed he was to miss out on playing for Scotland in the World Cup last year."
