Patel came through the youth ranks at Trent Bridge

Nottinghamshire all-rounder Samit Patel says a winning start could be crucial if the county are to progress to the knockout stage of the Twenty20 Cup.
"We've got a good game plan, and strength in depth and can't wait to get started," Patel said, as the Outlaws prepare to meet Yorkshire on Friday.
"Our group is strong and anyone can beat anyone which is why it is such an advantage to make a winning start.
"If we can gather momentum, who knows how far we can go?"
Andre Adams is expected to make his first appearance against Yorkshire, while former Nottinghamshire favourite and retired New Zealand international Chris Cairns will join Patel in the middle order if his registration is cleared by the England and Wales Cricket Board.
"Signing Chris and Andre was a great move for us because they can hit the ball out of the park and bowl handy overs," said Patel.
"They're tailor-made for Twenty20 cricket."
