Rain ruins tour match
Tour match, Trent Bridge, day three:
Nottinghamshire 287-9 dec and 38-0 drew with West Indies A 223-8 dec.

Hopes of a positive finish were dashed as rain prevented a single ball being played on the final day.

The match was set up for Notts to bat on before setting West Indies A a target, with the tourists hoping to bounce back following defeats by Kent and Derbyshire.

They declared 64 runs behind on first innings after all-rounder Ryan Hinds had made 73 off 75 balls.

He struck two sixes and nine fours and shared stands of 51 and 49 with Runako Morton (33) and Dwayne Bravo (21) after West Indies A had struggled to 57 for three.

The wickets were spread evenly among the Notts attack, with Nadeem Malik, Tom Savill, Gareth Clough and Paul McMahon claiming two each.
