Warner made his international T20 debut in January 2009
Australian batsman David Warner has agreed to join Middlesex Panthers for this season's Twenty20 campaign.
The 23-year-old said: "It's a fantastic opportunity to play at Lord's. Hopefully, I can help Middlesex win."
Middlesex chief executive Vinny Codrington added: "David is one of the most explosive and exciting batsmen in international Twenty20 cricket."
Warner will open the batting with former Australian wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist during the competition.
On his debut for Australia's Twenty20 side against South Africa last year, he hit 89 runs off just 64 balls.
He has since gone on to represent his home country in thirteen Twenty20 internationals and has over 450 runs to his name at an average of nearly 35.
