Middlesex approve executive board

Middlesex

Middlesex have approved a new executive board which will replace the existing 18-man general committee.

The vote was made at an Annual General Meeting to replace the current set-up which comprises only elected members.

The new 11-man board will have only six elected members and will include the club's managing director of cricket Angus Fraser.

The rule changes require approval from the Financial Services Authority before they can be implemented.

The other permanent positions on the board will be the chairman, chief executive, treasurer and the chairman of the Middlesex Cricket Board.
