Ntini has taken 388 Test wickets since his South Africa debut in 1998
South African bowler Makhaya Ntini has said he may return to Kent in 2011.
Ntini told BBC Radio Kent: "It will depend on whether I'm involved with the national team. If not, there is a massive opportunity for me to return."
The 32-year-old spent five weeks with the county this year and impressed the coach, players and fans.
"There are some teams where everyone keeps to themselves. At Kent you see everybody is trying to make it work and make victories happen," Ntini added.
"It's been beautiful, everyone's enjoyed my company and the home crowd appreciate what you're doing for them, it's something special."
We'd love to have Makhaya back next season. He's been a bag of fun to have around.
Ntini took 24 wickets in five County Championship matches for Kent, culminating in a 10-wicket haul as Kent beat champions Durham.
Coach Paul Farbrace said: "There aren't enough nice things you can say about the guy, other than we're very keen he comes back some time in the future.
"We'd love to have Makhaya back next season, and we'll really miss him. He's been a massive energy-giver to the team - from the day we picked him up in Manchester until the evening of his last game he's been a bag of fun to have around."
