Bowler David Griffiths signs new Hampshire contract
Griffiths took a first class career-best 6-85 against Notts in April
Hampshire bowler David Griffiths has signed a new two-year deal to stay at the Rose Bowl.
The 25-year-old joined the county at the age of 11 and has so far made 28 first class appearances.
He told BBC Radio Solent: "I've been bowling well this year when fit, I'm pleased to have signed.
"Mt two years were up this year. Now I've signed hopefully we'll win lots of trophies and I'll take lots of wickets. I just want to get out there and play."
He added: "The club wants to move forward in different ways next season and I want to be a big part of that.
"Hopefully I can cement my place in all forms of the game.
"I have committed my future to them and they have shown faith in me by giving me a new contract.
"When I'm playing I think I take wickets and do well for the club."
