Gloucestershire have confirmed the election of former captain Tony Brown as their new president.
Brown was appointed at the county's AGM on Wednesday night with former seam bowler Mike Smith succeeding him as chairman of cricket.
All-rounder Brown, 71, played for the county from 1953 to 1976 and took over as captain in 1969, leading the team to victory in the Gillette Cup 1973.
Forty-year-old Smith played for Gloucestershire from 1991 until 2004.
