Derbyshire is venue for ECB final

Derbyshire

Derbyshire's County Ground has been chosen as the venue for the England & Wales Cricket Board National Club Championship Final.

The match, which is 45 overs a side, will take place on 19 September.

The competition, which will be contested on a knockout basis between 253 teams, starts on 3 May.

Lord's has hosted the final in previous years cannot this year due to the high demand for pitches as a result of the full international programme.

Leicestershire's Kibworth Cricket Club were last year's winners beating Malden Wanderers in the final.
