Match scorecard

LV County Championship

Spinner Jigar Naik took four wickets on the final day as Leicestershire wrapped up victory over Glamorgan.

After resuming at Grace Road on 112-3, needing 226 more to win, Glamorgan soon lost Michael Powell.

Ben Wright offered some resistance with 65, but once he was eighth out to Naik the writing was on the wall.

Naik proceeded to mop up the tail to finish with 5-36 as Leicestershire bowled Glamorgan out for 248 to win by 89 runs.

Glamorgan still appeared to have a slim chance of victory when they went to lunch needing 139 to win with four wickets left.

But Naik ended a seventh-wicket partnership of 55 between Wright and Robert Croft by having the former England off-spinner caught by Matthew Boyce at mid-wicket, and took the final three wickets to fall in a spell of 4-16 in 7.1 overs.
