A brilliant all-round display from Owais Shah saw Middlesex complete a 27-run win over Leicestershire in their Pro40 Division Two match at Lord's.

The England batsman hit 43 as the hosts racked up 201-7 from their 40 overs, with Nick Compton top-scoring with 46.

Leicestershire's run chase revolved around James Taylor's 50 from 68 balls.

But he became the first of four wickets for part-time off-spinner Shah, who took 4-11 as a middle-order collapse saw the Foxes dismissed for 174.
