Robert Croft and Dean Cosker both took three wickets as Glamorgan wrapped up victory over Leicestershire by an innings and 72 runs at Colwyn Bay.

The Foxes began the final day on 77-2 in their second innings, 176 behind.

But after HD Ackerman was dismissed early on, only Boeta Dippenaar (57) offered any resistance as they were bowled out for 181 just after lunch.

Croft finished with 3-30 and Cosker 3-12 as Glamorgan claimed their first County Championship win of the season.

Any chance Leicestershire had of saving the game depended on overnight pair Dippenaar and Ackerman.

But Adam Shantry trapped Ackerman leg before with the 11th ball of the day and then had James Taylor smartly stumped by Mark Wallace down the leg side.

Dippenaar and Tom New added 67 for the fifth wicket but Croft then took two wickets in three balls to start a slump which saw the Foxes go from 163-4 to 166-9 in 3.4 overs.

First he trapped New lbw before having Jacques du Toit caught by Jamie Dalrymple at slip.

Claude Henderson was run out, Cosker trapped Nathan Buck leg before and Croft removed Dippenaar courtesy of a second Dalrymple catch.

And it was all over in the eighth over after lunch when Cosker bowled Harry Gurney through the gate as Glamorgan won for the first time in the Championship since beating Leicestershire by 10 wickets in Cardiff in September.
