Glamorgan are in touching distance of their first Championship win in Cardiff in 23 attempts after forcing Leicestershire to follow-on.
At the end of the third day at the Swalec Stadium, the visitors were 159-4 in their second innings still needing 84 to make the hosts bat again.
From an overnight 117-4, Leicestershire were bowled out for 201 first time around, and only improved slightly.
Seamer David Harrison finished with 4-49 from his first innings efforts.
But in general it was Glamorgan's spinners who carried the greatest threat on the third day.
Dean Cosker wrapped up Leicestershire's tail in the first innings with 3-35, before Robert Croft snared two of Leicestershire's major batsmen - Boeta Dippenaar and HD Ackerman.
