Cardiff match abandoned as a draw

COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP Division Two, Swalec Stadium, day four: Glamorgan v Worcs
Match abandoned as a draw
Points: Glam 4, Worcs 4

The match between Glamorgan and Worcestershire at Cardiff was abandoned as a draw after four days without play.

It is the first time the Swalec Stadium, which is due to host an Ashes Test next season, has had a four-day match completely washed out.

Glamorgan are due to spend £600,000 on drainage at the ground over the winter.

In this notably wet season, Durham's game against Nottinghamshire at the Riverside was also abandoned without a ball bowled on any of the four days.
