Foxes make steady reply at Lord's

Leicestershire reached stumps on day two at Lord's 183 behind Middlesex.

Ben Scott made 58 off 142 balls for Middlesex with four fours and a pulled six over square-leg, as the home side added 82 and mustered 367.

Middlesex opened the bowling with spinners Shaun Udal and Murali Kartik to squeeze in two overs before lunch but there was no early breakthrough.

Matthew Boyce struck his third fifty of the season before he was lbw to Kartik for 63 as the Foxes closed on 184-3.
