FP Trophy (North), Grace Road: Leics 256-6 (50 ovs) bt Scotland 255-6 (50 ovs) by 4 wkts
England wicket-keeper Paul Nixon struck an enterprising half-century as Leicestershire secured a hard-fought final-ball win over Scotland.
The inimitable Nixon hit 60 off 56 balls before being bowled by Dewald Nel's fifth ball of the last over with the home side still needing two runs.
Debutant Dan Rowe hit the last ball to cover and two were run as a wild Fraser Watts throw cleared the keeper's head.
Watts shared a third-wicket stand of 85 as the Scots built a total of 255.
