County Championship D2, Trent Bridge, day two (close): Nottinghamshire 475 v Glamorgan 262 & 20-2
Glamorgan were 193 behind at 20-2 having been forced to follow-on against Notts at Trent Bridge.
The home side extended their total to 475, with Jason Gallian adding only two to his overnight 176 before he succumbed to a leading edge to gully.
Left-arm seamer Ryan Sidebottom then ousted David Cherry with the second ball of the Glamorgan reply.
He took three wickets in 14 balls, and although David Hemp and Mike Powell hit fifties, Mark Ealham dismissed them.
Having earlier become a second wicket for 16-year-old James Harris, Ealham produced a fine spell with the ball himself, claiming four wickets.
An inswinger dislodged Powell and in his next over he tempted Hemp to edge through to Chris Read.
Former Australia batsman Matthew Elliott, who had spent the morning off the field with a sore neck, helped take the score past 200 but the visitors were never going to achieve the follow-on target of 326.
Notts had 10 overs to exploit having asked Glamorgan to bat again, and two inswinging yorkers from Charlie Shreck brought them further success.
