County Championship D1, The Oval, day two (close): Surrey 237-5 v Yorkshire 594-9d
Jason Gillespie and Tom Bresnan hit their first County Championship tons in Yorkshire's 594-9 declared against Surrey in Division One at The Oval.
Gillespie, who turned 32 on Thursday, and Bresnan shared a ninth-wicket stand of 246 - the third highest partnership for that wicket ever made in England.
Gillespie finished on 123 not out while Bresnan was out for 116.
Opener Scott Newman made 124 and the ever-reliable Mark Ramprakash 92 not out as Surrey ended day two on 237-5.
