Pro40 Division Two, Scarborough: Kent 246-6 (40 ovs) bt Yorkshire 184 by 62 runs
An inexperienced Yorkshire side crashed to a 62-run defeat against Kent.
The home team, fielding nine uncapped players, were 172-4 in search of 247 but lost their last seven wickets for a mere 12 runs in 24 deliveries.
Kent endured their own wobbles, reduced to 80-4 after 15 overs, but Rob Key and Matt Walker shared 89 in 18 overs.
Walker hit three sixes in his unbeaten 74, sharing 79 in five overs with West Indian Dwayne Bravo, who also hit three sixes in a maiden Pro40 50 in 21 balls.
Left-handers Michael Lumb and Andrew Gale shared a defiant stand of 84 in 16 overs for Yorkshire.
Lumb completed his first half-century of the season from 63 balls with seven
fours but then swept to Rob Ferley on the mid-wicket boundary.
Richard Pyrah hit James Tredwell for successive sixes but in attempting a third he holed out to long-on and the rest of the innings soon went with him.
