Pro40 Division Two, Chesterfield: Surrey 211-2 bt Derbyshire 207 by eight wickets
Surrey beat Derbyshire by eight wickets in their Pro40 Division Two fixture in Chesterfield on Sunday.
James Benning (66) and Ali Brown (106) put on 155 for Surrey and Mark Ramprakash (31no) guided the visitors past Derbyshire's total of 207.
Brown's knock took just 68 balls and ensured Surrey reached their target with 12.4 overs to spare.
Several players got starts for Derbyshire but none was able to push on. Nayan Doshi took 5-30 for Surrey.
Surrey have now won their first two Pro40 matches while it was Derbyshire's first fixture in the competition.
