Nicky Peng registered his best score for Glamorgan as he and Alex Wharf led a lower order fightback against Surrey on the second day at Swansea.
After being reduced to 147-6 in reply to Surrey's 348 all out, Peng (59) and
Wharf (60) shared in a seventh-wicket partnership worth 119 in 38 overs.
Captain Robert Croft and David Harrison put on 88 for the ninth wicket to give Glamorgan a first innings lead.
Openers Mark Cosgrove (63) and Ryan Watkins put on 82 before the collapse.
