County Championship D1, Headingley, day three (stumps): Lancashire 417-9 dec v
Yorkshire 252-9
Gillespie joined Kruis in a dogged 10th wicket stand

Jason Gillespie was forced to give a display of his batting prowess as Yorkshire stumbled against Lancashire.
Aussie tail-ender Gillespie, who hit an unbeaten 201 against Bangladesh in April, dragged the Tykes to 252-9 after they lost six wickets for 33 runs.
Tom Smith (4-55) and Yorkshire-born spinner Gary Keedy (3-40) put the White Rose in peril on day three.
But Deon Kruis and Gillespie added 63 for the 10th wicket and took their team to within 16 of avoiding the follow-on.
In mid-afternoon, Anthony McGrath (64) and Darren Lehmann looked like batting towards a draw in the rain-hit encounter.
McGrath kept his concentration either side of a rain break for a 103-ball 50 which contained eight fours.
But Aussie went out of his ground, missed a pre-meditated big hit at only the third ball of Keedy's new spell and was stumped.

Captain Craig White was then struck in front aiming across a delivery from Dominic Cork, and Gerard Brophy was bowled behind his legs sweeping at Keedy.
In the evening session McGrath appeared to misjudge both the length and style of a Keedy delivery.
Smith returned on his way to career-best figures to see off Tim Bresnan with a shooter and John Blain, lbw playing across a straight ball.
"We still hope we can come back tomorrow, get that last wicket to enforce the follow-on and then try to bowl them out again.
"Maybe we'll have to chase 50 or 60, but I hope not - I hope we can bowl them out for 150 or so and come back from Yorkshire with a win," said Smith.
