County Championship D1, Edgbaston, day one (stumps): Hampshire 280-4 v Warwickshire
Carberry hit 15 fours and one six in his 230-ball innings

Michael Carberry hit his first century since joining Hampshire from Kent last November as the visitors piled up 280-4 on day one against Warwickshire.
Inserted by their benevolent hosts, Hampshire openers Carberry and Jimmy Adams put on 112 for the first wicket.
With Carberry finally out for 102, John Crawley and Dominic Thornely maintained the pressure on the bowlers.
Alex Loudon took 2-64 but it was a real struggle for Heath Streak and his fellow seam bowlers at Edgbaston.
Carberry hit 102 in an innings of almost four hours, facing 230 balls.
Most of his runs came from boundaries, with an aggregate of 15 fours and one six, a well-played pull shot off Dougie Brown.
Adams was dropped by Nick Knight in the slips off James Anyon on 11. He added 29 runs to his score before falling lbw to a full-length ball from Neil Carter.
Crawley and Australian all-rounder Thornely put on 80 in the final session before Brown grabbed a late wicket.
But former Lancashire man Crawley (65 not out) will be eyeing a century on Wednesday.
