A fine batting display helped Kent earn a four-wicket win over Surrey to return to the top of the County Championship.
The hosts resumed day four on 173-2 but they collapsed from 240-2 to 350, with spinner Min Patel taking 4-110.
That left Kent with a victory target of 231 off 35 overs, but David Fulton and Robert Key gave them a flying start.
They still needed 90 off 10 but Justin Kemp smashed three sixes in his 47 and Niall O'Brien hit the first ball of the last over for four to see them home.
Surrey's misery at losing was compounded when they were docked half a point for a slow over-rate.
