Walker, Kemp batter Surrey attack
County Championship D1, Guildford, day two (stumps):
Surrey 452-8d v Kent 408-4

Matthew Walker and Justin Kemp each hit centuries in an unbroken partnership worth 206 for Kent against Surrey on day two of the match at Guildford.

The pair came together with the score 202-4 in reply to Surrey's 452-8 declared, and scored at a healthy lick.

Earlier, when Robert Key fell to Nayan Doshi for 65 and Azhar Mahmood trapped Darren Stevens for a duck, Surrey looked on course to grab an advantage.

Walker and Kemp had other ideas however and Surrey will do well to win now.
