Shah stars as Kent remain winless
Twenty20 Cup, Uxbridge:
Kent 144-8 lost to Middlesex 145-4 by six wickets

Kent's wretched Twenty20 Cup campaign continued at Uxbridge as Middlesex dealt them a six-wicket defeat.

Winless now after four games, Kent lost Matthew Walker to the second ball of the match and could post only 144-8, with Chris Peploe returning 3-35.

It was a target well within Middlesex's range and they were steered home in the 18th over by Owais Shah, who hit two sixes in an unbeaten 59 off 38 balls.

He put on 64 runs with skipper Ben Hutton, who hit 27 off 21 balls.
