Kent centurions set Surrey task
County Championship D1, Tunbridge Wells, day three (stumps):
Kent 262 & 467-4d v Surrey 324 & 11-0

Rob Key and Martin van Jaarsveld helped themsleves to centuries as Kent established a very healthy lead over Surrey on day three at Tunbridge Wells.

Although 62 runs behind on the first innings, Kent could afford to declare on 467-4 - setting Surrey 406 to win.

England Test hopeful Key struck 189 - his second ton of the match - while Van Jaarsveld hit 21 fours in his 168.

The pair put on 323 runs together for the third wicket before Key was stumped off Nayan Doshi (1-124).

Surrey, docked eight points by the ECB earlier in the day for ball-tampering, then reached 11-0 in seven overs before stumps.
