County Championship D1, Tunbridge Wells: (day one, close) Kent 262 v Surrey 22-0
Robert Key took out his frustration at England exile on the Surrey attack, compiling 118 in Kent's 262.
Key struck 18 boundaries in a timely innings, as the four batsmen behind him contributed four runs between them.
Evergreen seamer Martin Bicknell removed three of those players, and conceded only 31 from his 24 overs.
Andrew Hall hit nine fours in 61, but the last five wickets fell for 33, and Richard Clinton soon hit two fours as Surrey quickly added 22-0 in reply.
