Lancashire win under rain rules
C&G Trophy, Wormsley: Lancashire 370-4 beat Buckinghamshire 39-2 (10.3 ov) by 51 runs (D/L method)

Andrew Crook
Crook hit the highest score by a Lancashire player in the Trophy
Steady rain in the Chiltern Hills gave Lancashire a 51-run over hosts Buckinghamshire under Duckworth-Lewis rules with no play on Wednesday.

The score remained with Buckinghamshire on 39-2 from 10.3 overs after the visitors had hit a massive 370-4.

Andrew Crook hit a Lancashire one-day record 162 not out in that total, while Glen Chapple smashed the fastest half-century in competition history.

His unbeaten 55 occupied just 16 balls, and put the contest well beyond doubt.

Lancashire were just 11 short of their highest ever total in the competition, tallied against Hertfordshire in 1999.
