Surrey made short work of Glamorgan to record their first Championship victory of the summer at Sophia Gardens.
Mark Ramprakash followed his first innings 107 with an unbeaten 68 as they took just 10 overs on the final day to complete a five-wicket win.
He lost overnight partner Ali Brown, who was caught off Alex Wharf for 34, with 17 runs still needed.
But it was only a temporary setback and Ramprakash saw them home on 178-5 with a four off the England one-day seamer.
He has now scored 327 in three Championship innings so far this summer at an average of 163.5.
"We've been hit by a lot of early injuries which has been a bit disturbing, but I've always said if we are playing the right brand of cricket, it doesn't matter so much what side you go out there with.
"If we get the basics right, then we will be pretty close to the mark this season.
"We might have been minus a few players but we are still a very good cricket side," said Surrey coach Steve Rixon.
The match tilted decisively in Surrey's favour on the third day when James Ormond took 7-63 to hustle Glamorgan out for 173 and leave his side with a victory target of 176.
They reached 122-4 by the close of play and were in mood to hang about when the match resumed.
Brown hit five fours in reaching 34 off 25 balls before he gave a catch to Michael Powell.
His dismissal brought Rikki Clarke to the middle for the final moments and he contented himself with ones and twos in reaching five not out as Ramprakash added the finishing touches.
Glamorgan's defeat followed an innings-and-43-run thrashing by reigning champions Warwickshire in their opening game and they must now regroup in order to try and climb the table.
