County Championship D1, Bristol, day one (stumps):
Kent 66-2 v Gloucestershire
Gloucestershire paceman Jonathan Lewis vindicated his captain's decision to bowl first with two early wickets on a rain-hit first day against Kent.
Only 32 overs were bowled in Bristol, with the visitors reaching 66-2.
Lewis (2-13) reduced Kent to 18-2 in the opening overs, removing skipper Dave Fulton and South African Martin van Jaarsveld to catches both for two.
Rob Key (26 off 92 balls) and Matthew Walker (22 off 69) then took no risks as stumps drew near.
