Surrey made to work by students
UCCE match, The Brit Oval, day two (stumps):
Surrey 433-7d & 132-6 v Bradford/Leeds UCCE 333

Surrey were made to work hard to stay in the ascendancy on day two against Bradford/Leeds UCCE at The Oval.

The hosts, 232 runs in front, could manage only 132-6 at stumps in their second dig with five batsmen getting into double figures but none past 29.

They earlier bowled the students out for 333 from an overnight 31-2.

Bradford/Leeds UCCE's last wicket put on 86, and it took part-timer Ali Brown to end the partnership. James Benning was the pick of the bowlers with 3-77.
