Opener Wood hit 111 from 127 balls at The Oval
Yorkshire hit their second-highest Sunday League score ever to beat Surrey by 43 runs at The Brit Oval.

Ali Brown fought back with 89 off 46 balls but was one of four wickets in four overs for Craig White as the Lions were bowled out for 291.

Ian Harvey (69) got the Phoenix off to an explosive start, putting on 134 with Matt Wood, who went on to make 111.

Phil Jaques, another Aussie, and Anthony McGrath both contributed 48 at better than a run a ball.

Yorkshire's Sunday record score is 352-6, made against Notts in 2001.
