Trott stars in Warwickshire win
Totesport League D2, Edgbaston: Warwickshire 292-8 (45 overs) beat Surrey 224 (40.3 overs) by 68 runs

Jonathan Trott celebrated the award of his county cap with a century as Warwickshire kept their promotion hopes alive with a crushing win over Surrey.

Trott made 101, with Neil Carter (51) and Jim Troughton (82) weighing in with handy scores as the home side fell just short of 300 under the floodlights.

Surrey's Rikki Clarke took four wickets in eight balls to check the home side.

But James Anyon and Alex Loudon took three wickets each as the visitors were bowled out for 224 in reply.
