Lancs outclass feeble Glamorgan
Totesport League Division One, Colwyn Bay: Lancashire 176-2 (31.2 overs) beat Glamorgan 173 (40.5 overs) by 8 wickets

Glamorgan paid the price for another poor batting performance as they lost by eight wickets to Lancashire.

Alex Wharf's 36 was the top individual score in Glamorgan's total of 173 as Dominic Cork took 4-37 at Colwyn Bay.

Lancashire wasted no time in firing off the runs they needed, taking just 31.2 overs to seal the emphatic victory.

Mal Loye's 79 provided the backbone of Lancashire's reply with Stuart Law, Marcus North and Andrew Symonds scoring the rest of their side's runs.

The two Lancashire wickets to fall saw Law depart for off Wharf's bowling for a quickfire 28, while Dean Cosker accounted for North.

Symonds hit Robert Croft for a huge six over long-on to bring up Lancashire's winning runs.
