Spitfires' one-day woes continue
Totesport League Division Two, Canterbury: Surrey 212-5 (41.2 overs) beat Kent 211 (45 overs)

Kent's contrasting fortunes continued as they slumped to a five-wicket defeat to Surrey at Canterbury.

Atop the Championship but in the bottom half of Totesport League Division Two, the Spitfires were bowled out for 211, with Neil Saker taking 4-43.

Andrew Hall took three quick quickets to reduce the Lions to 25-3 in reply.

But Jon Batty (82) and Ali Brown (65) shared a stand of 117 before Rikki Clarke's unbeaten 35 saw them home with four overs to spare.
