Loudon secures Warwickshire win
County Championship D1, Lord's, day (stumps):
Warwickshire 272 & 383-7 beat Middlesex 323 & 330 by three wickets

Points: Warwickshire 19, Middlesex 6

Alex Loudon's superb unbeaten 95 saw Warwickshire chase down a target of 382 to clinch a three-wicket victory over Middlesex at Lord's.

The visitors, resuming on 221-3, lost opener Nick Knight for 75, fourth man out with the score on 236-4.

But Loudon, with good support from Neil Carter (17), Dougie Brown (19) and Luke Parker (27no), kept his nerve.

Stuart Clark and Peter Trago both picked up two wickets but Louden and Parker's stand of 63 secured victory.

Victory means Warwickshire have drawn level with Middlesex on points in the Division One table.
