Dominic Cork's highest Championship score for Lancashire was the sole highlight as the game against Northants ended in a draw at Aigburth.
The former Derbyshire all-rounder made 74 as the home side added 70 to their overnight score before being bowled out for 284.
Northants were content to bat out time in the final session, with Gerard Brophy hitting nine fours in his 67.
Teenage seamer Oliver Newby took 2-32 as the visitors closed on 146-4.
