Hants get point before rain
County Championship D2, Rose Bowl, day four:
Yorkshire 395 drew with Hampshire 259-8

Points: Yorkshire 10, Hampshire 9

The weather had the final say on day four at the Rose Bowl as honours were split in the Division Two match between Hampshire and Yorkshire.

A total of 14.4 overs were bowled on Saturday, with the hosts racing from 202-6 to 259-8 to pick up an extra batting point before the rain came.

Shaun Udal hit three sixes in his 41 for Hampshire, who are 37 points behind leaders Notts but with a game in hand.

Yorkshire lie 21 points and one spot behind third-placed Hampshire.
