Warwickshire stay top
County Championship D1, Stratford-upon-Avon
Warwickshire 499 & 124-2 drew with Lancashire 508

Points: Warwickshire 11, Lancashire 12

Warwickshire remain in charge of the County Championship after their home draw to Lancashire at Stratford.

A match played on a belter of a pitch and with frequent breaks for rain was always likely to yield a draw.

But a healthy crop of seven bonus points left Warwickshire well on top of division one and they remain the only unbeaten side in the table.

For the record, captain Nick Knight hit 67 not out in Warwickshire's second innings score of 124-2.

Warwickshire: N V Knight (Capt), M A Wagh, I R Bell, I J L Trott, J O Troughton, D R Brown, G B Hogg, T Frost (Wkt), N M Carter, N Tahir, D Pretorius.

Lancashire: M J Chilton, A J Swann, M B Loye, S G Law, P J Horton, D Mongia, W K Hegg (Capt, Wkt), S P Crook, P J Martin, J Wood, G Keedy.
