Points: Nottinghamshire 22, Derbyshire 3
Nottinghamshire claimed their sixth Championship win of the season to retain a stranglehold on Division Two as they beat Derbyshire on Monday.
Cornishman Charlie Shreck took 6-103 as Derbyshire, needing to bat all day for a draw from an overnight score of 75-5 were finally bowled out for 355.
That left Nottinghamshire needing just 25 runs to claim a 10-wicket win.
Derbyshire's Hassan Adnan finished unbeaten on 129 but could not quite find enough support to force a draw.
That said, it was well into the final session when a relieved Stuart MacGill finally had last man Mohammad Ali caught for 50 off just 36 balls.
For Nottinghamshire, the victory marked their fifth win on the bounce. The last time they had achieved that was in 1925.
