Spinner Shoaib Malik helped Gloucestershire strangle Surrey

Gloucestershire claimed their first Totesport League win of the season and continued Surrey's sorry start with a 42-run verdict in Bristol.
Alex Gidman led the way with 70 from 89 balls after Craig Spearman' 53 to take the Gladiators to 257-6.
Surrey, who have yet to win a match in any competition this year, started well with Mark Ramprakash hitting 73.
But miserly bowling caused the Lions to whimper, spinners Shoaib Malik and Martyn Ball taking two wickets each.
