Lancashire overcome Surrey
Totesport League D1, Old Trafford: Lancashire 244-9 beat Surrey 196 by 48 runs

Lancashire clinched the runners-up spot in Division One with a 48-run victory over relegated Surrey at Old Trafford.

The home side claimed 244-9 off their 50 overs as Stuart Law hit 73 off 72 balls while Chris Schofield fired a career-best 69 not out.

Surrey, who were relegated on Sunday, were always struggling and after an opening stand of 59, they slumped to 95-5 before being bowled out for 196.

Adam Hollioake could only score 12 in his final game for the Lions.
