Surrey 452-5 v Oxford UCCE
Three Surrey batsmen helped themselves to centuries as they piled up 452-5 on day one of their game against Oxford.
After the early loss of skipper Jon Batty for 15, Scott Newman (100) put on 141 with Mark Ramprakash.
Ramprakash then added 260 for the third wicket with James Benning before retiring on 113, while Benning (128) made his maiden first-class century.
He was eventually lbw to Michael Munday after hitting four sixes and 14 fours, but Ali Brown hit a rapid 61 not out.
