Lancashire 210 & 57-3 v Surrey 525
Surrey's Championship resurgence carried on apace on day two at Whitgift School against fellow relegation candidates Lancashire.
Mark Ramprakash led the way with 134 - his 73rd first-class ton - as Surrey took a 315-run first-innings lead.
They were dismissed for 525 from an overnight 148-2, with Rikki Clarke, Ali Brown and Tim Murtagh adding fifties.
Lancashire then stumbled to 57-3 at stumps after losing Mark Chilton first ball, with James Ormond returning 2-22.
Dominic Cork fared best with figures of 3-110 in Surrey's first innings, but the Lancashire attack struggled badly to make an impact.
