Foxes capture Masters
Leicestershire continued their personnel overhaul with the signing of fast bowler David Masters from Kent.
David Masters
Masters has a first-class bowling average of 29

Masters is the sixth signing Leicestershire have made since the end of the domestic season.

The 24-year-old has agreed a two-year deal at Grace Road.

General manager Kevin Hill said: "We are delighted to have agreed terms with David who we believe will add youth, enthusiasm and competitiveness to our bowling attack.

"We are confident he will be able to fulfil his undoubted potential with us."

Masters, who has taken 78 wickets in 28 first-class matches, said: "I'm thrilled to have been given this opportunity and I'm determined to help Leicestershire to continue to enjoy success in the future."

England one-day all-rounder Jeremy Snape, wicket-keeper Paul Nixon, John Maunders, John Sadler, and Rupesh Amin are the other new additions to Grace Road.

Former skipper Vince Wells and Iain Sutcliffe have left the club.
