Jones wants more than just a supporting role

Kent wicket-keeper Geraint Jones has set his sights on making his Test debut during England's forthcoming tours to Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
Jones will be travelling with the squad as understudy to Chris Read, who takes over the gloves from Alec Stewart.
But the 27-year-old believes that the selectors could re-consider if Read struggles with the bat.
"Ultimately I want to become the Test keeper, but that's going to be a bit of a waiting game to start with," he said.
"In Bangladesh, Chris is going to get his chance to have a bat, but if he doesn't succeed at get some runs, that's when my opportunity might come.
"Hopefully I won't have to wait too long."
Jones has leapfrogged Essex's James Foster in the wicket-keeper pecking order, largely because of his batting ability.
He scored 886 Championship runs at an average of 44 during the summer.
But also completed 55 dismissals - 50 catches and five stumpings - a total exceeded only by Somerset's Rob Turner.
"The period after being named until the last few days was all a bit surreal, but now it's really kicked in with all my gear arriving," he told BBC Radio Kent.
"I've asked a few questions about the wickets [in Bangladesh]. Apparently they're quite low, slow turning wickets, so I've done a bit of work in the indoor school to try and prepare myself for that sort of situation."
